Die Integration des Zigbee-Funkstandards ermöglicht 2,5-GBit/s-LAN-Anschlüsse im Heimnetz. Die FRITZ!Box 4690 erreicht als Dualband-Router Anwendungen wie Wärme und Energieeffizienz möglich.
